Uluru: Sacred Sites & Sunset Tour with Wine & Cheeseboard

About This Experience
This tour leaves Ayers Rock Resort in the afternoon and starts with a drive around the base of Uluru in an air-conditioned coach. Your driver/guide explains the rock and points out the many sacred sites around it, which are important to Anangu, the Traditional Owners.
The coach then stops for the Kuniya walk, a short, easy Grade 2 track (about 1 km return) that your guide leads to Mutitjulu Waterhole. Along the way you see Aboriginal rock paintings, learn about native plants and hear both the Aboriginal and European history of Uluru.
Next is the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, where you can learn about Anangu culture and look at Aboriginal arts and crafts. Reviewers often say they would have liked more time here.
The day finishes back at the rock for sunset. While the color changes you get nibbles and drinks: sparkling, red and white wine, lemonade and orange juice. The coach then returns you to your hotel.
The national park pass is not included. Adults need one (A$38 for 3 days, under-18s free); buy it online before the tour.

What Travelers Say
Rated 4.5/5 by 517 verified GetYourGuide travelers.
Reggie & Dave was great. They are very informative & entertaining. Dave was hilarious when delivering his classic native stories with that local accent. Reggie was cute & bubbly filled with excitement with the extremely rare prospect of waterfall at Uluru. Their constant bickering at each other kept many of us sharp, awake & laughing. Well done guys. Hip Hip “Hooray”. Hip Hip “Hooray”. Hip Hip “Hooray”.
