Best of Uluru - Segway and Walking Tour

About This Experience
This tour combines a Segway ride with two guided walks, so you see several parts of Uluru in one outing. Uluru Segway Tours picks you up from your hotel in Yulara and drives you about 30 minutes to the base of the rock.
The Segway section starts with a 30-minute training session and a short safety briefing, then a one-hour guided ride covering about a quarter of Uluru's base. Guides talk about Anangu culture, plants, animals, geology and the area's European history as you go.
On foot, your guide leads you into Mutitjulu Waterhole and shows you Aboriginal rock art. The group then moves by bus to the Mala walk, where you explore caves and continue toward Kantju Gorge. On its own, the Mala walk is a 2 km return track graded 2 by the park.
The tour is recommended for ages 12 to 65, and every rider signs a waiver. You need your own national park pass, bought in advance, and closed-toe shoes; anyone in flip-flops cannot ride.

Fantastic experience and well worth the experience. The segway route allowed us to cover a lot of ground in a short period of time. Our young teens girls loved it too

Our guides Holly and Harley were fantastic, very relaxed and knowledgeable, and highly respectful of the local culture. The Segways are so much fun and quite easy to get used to.

I throughly enjoyed the experience. I had never been on a Segway before but the experience was great. So Pleased we had a practice track to use and get the hang of the Segway before moving out onto the tracks. Harley our guide was respectful and knowledgeable about the indigenous people of the land. All round I had a wonderful day and tried something different
